Was there on a snowy New Year's day. Quite an array of menu items, I had Rodney's stacker; unstacked. Egg cooked perfect, pancakes also perfect with sausage patties and grits. I left very full and satisfied. Just what I needed to start the new year!

It was around Noon time and we were looking for Breakfast. We ended up at Friendly's but turned around and walked out, They do not serve all day Breakfast. SOOO Glad we did because it brought us to Olde Tymes Restaurant. No problem locating a parking space, the lot is pretty big . Rite away we saw the sign "Breakfast until 2pm". We were greeted immediately and brought to a booth. It wasn't more than 5 min when our server (Jay-lynn) greeted us. We ordered 2 coffees to start as we browsed the menu which happens to be your placemat. Our server (Jay-lynn) returned with a entire pitcher of hot coffee- . We are coffee lovers so that was a bonus for Us. Our server (Jay-lynn) answered all our questions about the menu as well as any other question we threw at her. Super courteous and knowledgeable. We ordered the Ham & cheese omelet, eggs over easy .Each order came with toast and home fries. Being from the south we are fans of grits and biscuits & gravy so we ordered a order of each. Best B&G I've had yet here in the North- our meals were cooked perfectly and were delicious. The menu is full of unique and simple options we definitely will be returning for another great meal. Highly recommend. Thank you Jay-lynn for a awesome experience!!

I am writing to share my appreciation for the excellent service our group receives at Old Times. We are a group of men recovering from prostate cancer who meet at your restaurant once a month. Today, we were served by Lisa, who has assisted us before. Our gatherings are often longer than a routine breakfast, yet Lisa and the rest of your staff are always exceptionally professional and kind. Additionally, the food is consistently very good. Thank you for providing such a welcoming environment for our meetings.

I go here frequently. They always get my order right. The waitresses go above and beyond & they're very attentive. The cooks are amazing. I LOVE how they keep it old school & have super fun gifts by the entrance. One of my favorite restaurants 🥰 unique menu items too!

We had the cinnamon crisp, blueberry muffins and the ultimate breakfast sandwich. We split everything. Portions were very large, price point was amazing and the atmosphere and service from Sheila was top notch. We are foodies. We are serious about our food. If you are in doubt, just try them out! We are so sad that we live 5 hours away. You know it’s good when you don’t want to leave. ‘Til we eat again…

Amazing, freshly made 10/10 food. Stupendously friendly 10/10 service. Awesome truly rustic old time feel 10/10 Outrageously fair priced dishes. Will definitely come back, Courtney our server was the best!

Olde Tymes restaraunt has amazing food for great prices. My friend and I love to come hete for breakfast. The food is always good. The staff is friendly and efficient and the coffee is always hot and strong. I highly recommend this diner.

The Best restaurant in Connecticut! Fast service! DELICIOUS Food! Excellent Customer Service! GREAT HOMEMADE BISCUITS AND YOU CAN'T BEAT THE PRICES! Family friendly atmosphere . This place is a Gem to the Norwich community. ❤️

Absolutely adorable little New England diner with really good food. The old timeyness really smacks you in the face as you walk in, and the smell… the glorious smell of wonderfully cooked food immediately hits you. We were served by the sweetest little granny who added her own charm to an already very charming place. The food was across the board a 10/10 and the service was incredibly good. The only downside is the bathrooms are a bit rundown and legitimately could use some repairs. The door handle almost pulled out entirely when I grabbed it, the door has some issues, the sink faucets have a “wiggle” from not being fully secured underneath, etc. They need about a solid 2 hours from a competent handyman to fix these little issues, but the place was amazing otherwise.

We had such a great experience at this restaurant! The food was genuinely delicious! The potatoes were perfectly crispy, and the hash had great flavor. We ordered the pileup breakfast bowls, and they were absolutely amazing. The portion sizes were huge, especially for how LOW the prices were. We actually had to get to-go boxes because there was so much food, and for two people the total was only about $35! The coffee was really good too, and the blueberry muffins were a nice touch. Fresh, tasty, and honestly better than a lot of bakery muffins I’ve had. Our waitress was super friendly and took our order quickly. Service felt smooth and welcoming the whole time. The restaurant itself is very spacious, with an upstairs seating area as well. They even had little trinkets and bars of soap for sale, which gave the place a charming, cozy feel. The bathrooms were pretty clean and well kept, and there was tons of parking available, which made everything super convenient. Overall, this place is a great find! Amazing food, excellent value, friendly service, and a comfortable atmosphere. Highly recommend!
